Waiver of premium payment for 18 Critical Illnesses Rider (OI)

Protection Features:

This Rider comes into effect once the doctor diagnoses that that the insured is suffering from any of the 18 illnesses, i.e. Cancer,  Acute Myocardial Infarction, Kidney Failure, Stroke, Benign Brain Tumor,  Coronary Artery Surgery, Paralysis, Muscular Dystrophy, Major Burns, Major Organ Transplants, Coma, Terminal Illness, Brain Damage/Loss of Independent Existence, Surgery of a disease of the Aorta,  Multi Sclerosis, Fulminant Viral Hepatitis, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease.

The Company shall waive the premium payment for the basic policy.  The first premium to be waived will be the one that is due after the insured is diagnosed with the critical illness.

Personal Accident Riders and Endorsements (SCPA, ADD, ADB, RCC)

Special Comprehensive Personal Accident Rider (SCPA)

Protection Features:

This Rider gives additional coverage for any accident that causes loss of life, loss of limbs and eyesight or causes the insured to become disabled within 180 days of the accident;  or in injuries that cause the insured to become hospitalized as an in-patient and subsequently dies from the injuries.  The Company shall pay a compensation for any of these incidents as given in the Table of Benefits.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment Rider (ADD)

Protection Features:

This Rider gives the insured additional coverage should he/she receives injuries causing loss of life, loss of limbs or eyesight, within 180 days from the date of the accident;   or injuries that cause the insured to become hospitalized as an in-patient and subsequently dies from the injuries.  Should this happen, the Company shall pay a compensation  as given in the Table of Benefits.

Accidental Death Benefit Rider (ADB)

Protection Features:

This Rider gives the insured additional coverage should he/she dies within 180 days from the date of the accident;  or injuries that cause the insured to become hospitalized as an in-patient and subsequently dies from the injuries.   Should this happen, the Company shall pay a compensation  as given in the Table of Benefits.

Riot and Civil Commotion Endorsement (RCC)

Protection Features:

This is an Endorsement that may be attached to the SCPA Rider and the ADD Rider which gives the insured the additional coverage for loss of life, loss of limbs and disability caused by murder, intentional bodily harm, civil war, coups, rebellion, civil commotion such as the people’s uprising against the government, riots and strikes – in which the insured did not take part.

Hospital Indemnity Rider (HI)

Protection Features:

This Rider gives the insured the additional coverage should he/she needs to be admitted as an in-patient at a hospital for a continuous period of not less than 6 hours.   The insured may choose a daily compensation plan ranging from 200 – 5,000 baht and the compensation is for a maximum of 365 days for each injury or illness for which the insured is hospitalized, but the plan selected shall not be more than one-time the amount of the insured’s daily income.  This amount shall be paid out regardless of medical expenses.

Special Daily Compensation for Hospitalization (HP)

Protection Features:

The Company shall pay a daily compensation as stated in the policy if the insured is admitted as an in-patient at a hospital for a continuous period of not less than 6 hours.   The compensation is for a  maximum of 365 days for each injury or illness for which the insured is hospitalized.   The Company shall also pay double the daily compensation if the insured is admitted to the I.C.U. or the C.C.U. (the daily compensation is for a maximum of 7 days).  This amount will be paid out regardless of any other hospital fees.

Payor Benefit Rider (PB)

Protection Features:

While this Rider is in effect, if the payor of premiums dies or becomes totally and permanently disabled, the insured’s basic policy along with its ADD Rider (if any) and the ADB Rider (if any) shall  be waived its premiums. The first premium to be waived will be the one that is due after the payor of premium dies or becomes disabled.

Total Permanent Disability Rider 2 (DI)

Protection Features:

The Company shall pay the sum assured as stated in the Rider, if the insured becomes totally and permanently disabled, from accidents or illnesses, and the state of that disability has been on-going for a continuous period of 180 days from the date of the disability occurrence.  The Rider also pays a sum for loss of at least 2 limbs, i.e. eyesight, hand, foot (any 2 of 6 limbs), which will constitute that he/she is permanently disabled – whether this results from an accident or from illness.

Waiver of Premium for Total Permanent Disability Rider 2 (OD2)

Protection Features:

This Rider gives protection to the insured should he/she becomes permanently disabled, whether from accident or illness, for at least 180 days continuous from the date of the disability occurrence.  Or, should the insured losses at least 2 limbs, i.e. eyesight, hand, foot  (any 2 of 6 limbs), the Company shall waive the premium of the basic policy; the Term Rider (if any) or the Pure Endowment Rider (if any).
